An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred in the central part of Iran. This was announced on October 2 by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center on its official website.

It is noted that the earthquake was located at a depth of 10 km. The epicenter of the cataclysm is located 183 km northeast of the city of Isfahan.
