The only Marinette vessel of the Turkish delegation of the global Sumud flotilla continued to move towards Gaza. This became known on October 2.

"Our fleet is still moving towards Gaza, and there are Turkish activists on board the Marinette. The ship may reach the area of action tonight. The mission of our fleet is to deliver humanitarian aid to our oppressed brothers and sisters in Gaza," the Turkish delegation said in a post on the social network X.

The fleet's crew also asked the public to monitor the safety of the vessel's movement.

The progress of the vessel can be watched in the live broadcast of the Global Sumud Flotilla on the YouTube channel.

Earlier, on September 10, it was reported that the main ship of the Global Sumud Flotilla, led by Greta Thunberg, sailing to the shores of the Gaza Strip, was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It is specified that this attack, which became the second in a few days, was recorded off the coast of the city of Sidi Bou Said in Tunisia.

Later, the Israeli Foreign Ministry announced plans to deport members of the Sumud flotilla. The ministry noted that all the activists are healthy and safe.
