Dynamo Makhachkala defeated Rostov in a penalty shootout

Makhachkala football club (FC) Dynamo defeated FC Rostov in a penalty shootout in the match of the 5th round of the group stage of the Russian Premier League (RPL) FONBET Cup of Russia. The game, which took place on October 2, ended with a score of 1:1 (penalty shootout 4:2).

"Rostov midfielder Daniil Shantali opened the scoring in the 33rd minute. The hosts won back thanks to the [defender's] goal Temirkhan Sundukova in the 64th minute," Sport-Express reported.
