Liksutov invited new carriers to Moscow bus stations
The popularity of inter-regional bus trips is growing, so Moscow bus stations are inviting new carriers to increase the number of flights and expand the geography of routes. This was stated by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry.
"We see a significant increase in demand for intercity bus services and are actively working on the development of new destinations, as instructed by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. We invite reliable carriers who are ready to offer high—quality service and modern buses to cooperate," Liksutov said.
Deptrans stressed that the bus stations are interested in long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation, which will allow passengers to offer the best travel solutions.
Bus stations are transport hubs. They play a crucial role in ensuring transport links between Moscow and other regions of Russia, as well as neighboring countries. Bus stations are located near the MKAD, which allows carriers to optimize routes, reduce flight times and avoid traffic congestion in the city, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced operating costs. Bus stations are equipped with rest rooms for drivers and parking for buses.
In 2021, the capital's bus stations were transferred under the control of the Moscow Metro. The main goal of this step is to increase comfort and safety for passengers on inter—regional buses.
