A passerby saved a girl from a kidnapper in Balashikha, Moscow region.
In Balashikha, near Moscow, passers-by helped a schoolgirl escape from a man who allegedly tried to kidnap her. This was announced on October 2 by a source of Izvestia.
The incident occurred the night before and was recorded by surveillance cameras.
"According to eyewitnesses, an unknown man pursued the girl, posing as her father. A young man reacted to the screams of the schoolgirl, then other passers—by noticed the situation," the source said.
The video shows an unknown man running after a schoolgirl, grabbing her hand and trying to hold her back. A young man ran to the screams of the schoolgirl and snatched the girl from the hands of the attacker. Local residents reported that the man introduced himself as the schoolgirl's father, however, she denies this. Now the police are looking for a suspect.
In May, a source from Izvestia reported that a man who abducted his own daughter five years ago after a divorce was detained at the Minsk airport. A 42-year-old from St. Petersburg tried to fly with the girl to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) using fake passports, but he was stopped at border control.
