On October 2, Denis Kiselyov, a rescuer and teacher at the Central School of Mountaineering Instructors, suggested that Natalia Nagovitsina, a Russian climber who was stuck on Victory Peak, could have left a suicide note that might have been blown away by the wind.

According to Kiselyov, if Nagovitsina had left a note in the tent, the mountain winds could have carried it away.

"If she put it somewhere deeper, in her clothes, then perhaps the note will remain until possible evacuation," he said in an interview with aif.ru .
