Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the G20 summit in Miami. This was announced on October 2 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

Svetlana Lukash, Russia's sherpa at the G20, said on September 29 that the decision on Putin's participation in the G20 summit in Miami would be made based on the state of Russian-American relations. She added that Putin would have the last word on this issue.
