Sales of domestic Sollers ST9 pickups began in Russia

Sales of Sollers ST9 four-wheel drive pickups have started in Russia, the model is available in trim levels starting from 3.5 million and 3.58 million rubles, respectively. This is stated in the message of the Sollers company, which was received by Izvestia on October 2.

The Sollers ST9 is equipped with a two-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 224 hp (Euro-5) with a timing chain drive and an automatic eight-speed transmission with a torque converter. All-wheel drive with downshift and electronic locking of the rear differential is provided. A dependent multi-link spring suspension is installed at the rear. Ground clearance is 210 mm.

The load capacity of up to 980 kg allows you to enter the central areas of megacities. The cargo compartment (1520×1590×470 mm) has a wear-resistant coating and internal hinges for securing cargo. The pickup truck is certified to install accessories in the body and a traction device.

The basic version includes 18-inch wheels, an all-round camera system and parking sensors, four airbags, LED optics, keyless entry and engine start system, leather seat trim, electric driver's seat, multi-steering wheel, climate control. A multimedia system with a 10.4-inch screen and six speakers is installed. There are heated front seats and wireless charging for a smartphone. The top-of-the-line equipment is complemented by an electronic rear differential lock, an electric front passenger seat, ceiling safety shutters and an electric sunroof.

The Sollers ST9 is based on the Chinese JAC T9 pickup truck, which costs from 3.65 million rubles in a gasoline version with a similar engine, and from 3.75 million rubles in a diesel version (year of manufacture 2025). The ST9 is manufactured at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. In January of this year, Sollers launched production of all-wheel drive Sollers ST6 and ST8 pickups using full-cycle technology at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, these models are based on JAC. Sollers is developing an SUV based on the ST9, with sales expected in early 2026.

Earlier, on September 29, it became known that the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant released a batch of gasoline Patriots and Pickups with a new six-speed manual transmission, which will be sent for certification tests. In early September, UAZ began completing a test cycle of the upgraded 150-horsepower 2.7-liter ZMZ Pro gasoline engine.
