Temperatures will be colder in almost all of Russia this winter than they were a year ago. This was announced on October 2 at the Hydrometeorological Center.

"In almost all of Russia, the average December temperature is expected to be lower than in 2024. In most of the European territory of Russia (ETR), in the central and southern regions of the Ural and Siberian federal districts, January is expected to be significantly colder than in 2025," TASS quotes a fragment of the probabilistic forecast of temperature in Russia for the heating period (October - March) in 2025-2026.
