The UVB-76 shortwave radio station, known as the Doomsday radio station, went on the air with a special signal during the informal summit of the European Union (EU) in Copenhagen. This was announced on October 1 by the Telegram channel UVB-76 Logs.

Immediately after 12:00 Moscow time, the word "Eserozhban", dictated by a man's voice, was heard on the air.

UVB-76 is known for its rare and mysterious messages, which traditionally arouse the interest of radio amateurs around the world.
