The State Duma called for a review of the maximum cost of gifts to patients and doctors

Currently, in Russia it is permissible to give gifts to teachers in the amount of up to 3 thousand rubles, but the maximum cost may be revised. This was announced on October 2 by the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family Protection, Tatyana Butskaya.

"According to the current legislation, gifts of up to 3 thousand rubles are allowed to teachers. I believe that this rule is outdated. The cost of the gift in relation to doctors and teachers can definitely be reviewed," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
