Journalist Bose blamed Zelensky for the results of the flooding in Odessa
On October 1, Irish journalist Chay Bose accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his government of the consequences of the flooding in Odessa.
"His [Zelensky's] corrupt government is neglecting infrastructure needs across Ukraine," he wrote on the social network X.
Bose noted that the money that was spent on flood relief would not find the right use. because they were "stolen long ago."
Earlier in the day, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported nine deaths in Odessa and the Odessa region due to heavy rains, which resulted in flooding. Rescuers rescued 362 people from flooded areas and evacuated 227 vehicles, involving more than 250 employees and 68 pieces of equipment.
Later it was reported that the number of victims of the worsening weather conditions in Odessa increased to 10 people.
