Blood diseases of tumor and non-tumor origin are more common in women than in men. Non-cancerous conditions include anemia, cytopenia, and blood clotting disorders.

"The reported incidence of diseases of the blood system of tumor origin is higher in women <...> the ratio is 52% versus 48%. Every year in Russia, about 30 thousand tumor diseases of the blood system and about 200 thousand non—tumor diseases are diagnosed," the doctor said.

As the doctor noted, such diseases can be detected by a blood test. Any deviations from the norm may indicate the presence of pathology.

"It is possible to suspect a disease of the blood system by clinical analysis, where the doctor analyzes blood parameters <...> A decrease or increase in indicators may indicate various diseases," the specialist explained.
