Jane Goodall, a British primatologist, ethologist and scientist, died at the age of 92. This was announced on October 1 by the Jane Goodall Institute.

"Dr. Jane Goodall, Deputy Secretary General, UN Envoy of Peace and founder of the Jane Goodall Institute, died of natural causes," the institute said in a Facebook post (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
