UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres advocates for the right of Russian-speaking residents of Ukraine to speak and teach in their native language. This was announced on October 1 by the official representative of the Secretary General of the world organization, Stephane Dujarric.
"What is absolutely obvious to the Secretary General is that people have an inalienable right to speak their own language and learn their native language," he told the RIA Novosti news agency.
