Hungary announces plan to receive gas from Turkmenistan

Hungary expects gas supplies from Turkmenistan in the near future. This was announced on October 1 by Adam Stifter, Deputy Secretary of State for the Development of Eastern Relations in Hungary.

"In the energy sector, we count on Turkmenistan as a reliable partner. Hungary depends on gas imports from different countries, so we also look at Turkmenistan with great hope and hope that Turkmenistan will become a gas supplier to Europe, more precisely to Hungary, in the near future," TASS quoted him as saying.
