In Estonia, the evacuation of vehicles parked in the "green zone" at the Koidula checkpoint near the Russian border has begun. The October 1 footage is published by Izvestia.

The footage shows that special services are placing cars on a truck for further transportation and disposal. According to Izvestia, a tow truck has taken eight cars from a free parking lot today. At the same time, some vehicles have their wheels lowered and their headlights removed. It is assumed that they have been in the parking lot for several years.

"The car is going to be disposed of at the firefighters Academy. These vehicles will be used for exercises on how to extinguish a fire," said a senior inspector who led the evacuation of vehicles named Kairo.

At the same time, according to the employee, the vehicles that are subject to evacuation have been inactive for two to three years.

Earlier that day, the Estonian authorities began posting notices warning of the evacuation of Russian cars parked at the Koidula checkpoint near the border with the Russian Federation. The document states that if the owner does not pick up the car from the parking lot at the checkpoint, it will be evacuated to a secure parking lot.
