It is noted that two people were injured in the incident — the 81-year-old mother of the suspect and his 21-year-old daughter. They were hospitalized.

The police added that there are currently "no signs of danger" elsewhere in Munich. Other circumstances of the incident are being established.

Earlier in the day, the Bild newspaper reported that explosions had occurred in Munich. At the same time, a man's body was found at the scene. Soon after, it became clear that the explosion was caused by the deceased himself in his parents' house. He then set himself on fire and committed suicide.
