In Ulyanovsk, the circumstances of the death of a 27-year-old woman and her two daughters, who were found with signs of violent death in an apartment building, are being established. This was announced on September 1 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Ulyanovsk region.

"In the afternoon, the bodies of her 27-year—old daughter-in-law and two young granddaughters with signs of violent death were found in one of the apartments of a residential building in the city of Ulyanovsk," the department's Telegram channel says.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of two or more persons"). Forensic investigators are examining the scene of the tragedy. A close relative of the victims is currently being investigated for involvement in the crime.
