Vershino-Darasunsky forestry in Transbaikalia cleared of garbage

The Clean Forest campaign was held on the territory of the Vershino-Darasunsky forestry in the Trans-Baikal Territory. In total, about 70 cubic meters of various garbage were collected and removed, the press service of the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment reported on Wednesday, October 1.

The cleaning was organized by employees of the Tungokochen forestry, writes ChitaMedia news agency. About 40 people took part in it: heads of rural settlements, volunteers and forestry staff.

At the end of July, it was reported that all illegal landfills had been cleared on the lands of the forest fund in the central ecological zone of the Baikal Natural Territory. In total, five piles of garbage were recorded.
