Sobyanin spoke about the construction of a new road in Orekhovo-Borisov

A new street will be built in the Orekhovo-Borisovo Yuzhnoye area, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said on his channel in the MACH messenger. The projected passage No. 963 will connect Yeletskaya Street with Kashirskoye Highway and improve the traffic situation in the area.

According to the mayor of the capital, the new two-lane road will have one lane in each direction. In the future, the city authorities plan to run bus routes along the new street that will connect Orekhovo-Borisovo Yuzhnoye with the nearest metro stations. Wide pedestrian sidewalks will be laid on the street, modern public transport pavilions will be installed. As part of the comprehensive works, existing and new entrances to residential areas and industrial enterprises will also be improved.

"The development of the road network at the quarterly and district levels, along with major infrastructure projects, is an important component of the transport framework of the capital," Sergei Sobyanin said.
