All persons involved in the confiscation of frozen Russian assets will be prosecuted. This was announced on October 1 at a briefing by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"In Russian, we are talking about theft. If someone wants to steal our property, our assets, misappropriate them, use the dividends from these assets, then, of course, first of all, the persons involved will be prosecuted in one way or another, they will all be held accountable," he said.
