"Evening Moscow" became the winner of the award for the best social project
The results of the annual program "The Best social projects in Russia", which has been held for more than 12 years, were summed up. The award ceremony was held on Monday.
Vechernyaya Moskva won an award in the Socially Responsible Media category for a special issue dedicated to the special operation. In this edition, correspondents and editors of VM talk about the support of their participants and their families.
"The implementation of social programs is not just an expense item, but a strategic investment in our common future. Their true effectiveness is achieved solely in the synergy of three key forces: government, business and society," says Polina Belyakova, PR Director of the program "The Best Social Projects in Russia."
Among the laureates, the Department of Competition Policy of the City of Moscow received great attention for the project "Culture of Competition", which received an award in the nomination "Financial Literacy". Within its framework, a program was developed for schoolchildren, which talked about the principles of public procurement and the role of competition in the development of the economy.
The special issue of VM about SVO is a difficult job, because we perfectly understand who we are working for. It's not just a newspaper for the reader, it's a newspaper for fighters and about fighters. Hence the completely different set of themes and characters. "And since this VM project was noticed and celebrated, it means that we are doing everything right," said Valentin Zvegintsev, editor of the international department, chief editor of the special issue of VM about SVO. — But the most important thing is not even awards, but reviews and responses from the soldiers themselves, who read us and appear on the pages of our publication.
