- The participants of the "Winners" show will be tested on the edge of possibilities
The best representatives of dozens of professions in their field — doctors, firefighters, divers and even flight attendants — will become the main characters of the most unpredictable test show "Winners", which is being prepared by REN TV. They passed a record casting, as a result, 140 of the best from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan remained. Only a few can withstand the hardest test. No decorations — this is how elite special forces train.
Run along a narrow unstable log, storm a high wall, grab a rope so as not to end up in icy water. The tests are like those of fighters who pass on a krapovy beret.
"A training ground worthy of special forces, the obstacle course is modeled after the tracks of elite units. All these ropes and ladders are waiting for those who consider themselves winners," said correspondent Alexander Morozov.
"There will be handlebars, there will be strength exercises, you will need to accelerate, you will need to work with mass, you will need to work as a team," said Andrey Andreev, chief production designer of the Winners show.
A real revolution in the TV format. There was no such competition on any television sports show — the participants will take up arms to show their marksmanship.
"For the first time, on Russian television, for sure, in a tactical show, in a television show, there will be shooting. The strongest will win. And most importantly, they must be together in order to win," said Mikhail Tukmachev, Deputy General Director for Production at REN TV.
And the participants of the Winners project will have to fight with each other, keeping their balance on the roof of a truck that will move along the runway.
"The genre is a tactical game, there are more than a hundred participants. Geography — the whole of Russia, heroes of various professions. They have one thing in common: they save and protect people every day at their post," the correspondent noted.
Her job is constant readiness. Anastasia Vetrova, the dispatcher of the fire and rescue unit from Yakutsk, runs in her spare time. And for her, it's more than a hobby. Endurance is considered his main tactical advantage in the upcoming trials in the Winners project. Although a few years ago, Anastasia did not even think about seriously doing running.
"I've never run before, I didn't understand how people do it in principle, and I purposefully went running to beat myself. And that's why I think there's a place for me on this project, I'm interested in it," she shared.
Andrey Chinkov easily squeezes 190 kg from his chest. He has been working as a bodyguard for 15 years. He confidently declares that he has no equal in shooting. Just like in trials, in which the main thing is to keep cool.
"I think every man always wants to test his strength, dexterity, and skill," said a participant in the show.
One of the challenges is a real swamp. Professional stuntmen, who were the first to test all the stages, admitted that it took a while to overcome the quagmire.
"You don't just have to walk in the swamp, there are also bags there, you have to lift them from the bottom," stuntman Sergey Kirikov shared.
Cold wind, dank weather and limited visibility due to smoke, which obscures landmarks in the area. You can't figure out what to do right away.
"I joined the Ministry of Emergency Situations as an athlete, that is, with the title of Master of Sports in orienteering," Igor Ogarko shared.
A firefighter from Novosibirsk can navigate in any situation, especially when the seconds count. Fully equipped, he ascends to the 39th floor in 5 minutes, which is only possible for five people in the world.
"I know what will be waiting for me, it will be very difficult, difficult, but I have been ready for this for many years," he said.
First, a harsh selection process, where everyone is on their own. Then there are challenges that can only be won together. But in the final, it's not just a decision that awaits the remaining ones, but a choice that will determine who the winner is.
Earlier, on September 26, the Internet Development Institute presented the main premieres of the new film season, which included the REN TV project Dear Willy. The political detective gets into the audience's request for historical series, it is based on real events, when in the 1960s, in order to prevent a nuclear war of the superpowers, two secret agents were sent to Germany on Brezhnev's personal instructions. One is a former intelligence officer and now a translator, the other is his friend, a journalist. On the screen, Sergey Marin and Alexey Rozin are an acting tandem, getting into both dangerous and comical situations.
