The Gorynych FSB unit destroyed 11 reconnaissance UAVs in Donbas

The Gorynych anti-terrorist unit of the Donetsk directorate of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia destroyed 11 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used for reconnaissance by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Konstantinovsky direction. This was announced on October 1 by the press service of the department.

"The Dome of Donbass system identified 11 enemy UAVs heading towards Horlivka and Donetsk-Makeyevka agglomeration for reconnaissance and fire correction," the report said.

As confirmed by the FSB, the agency's staff intercepted the drones using FPV attack drones, preventing them from entering the protected circuit and ensuring the security of the region.

On September 26, the FSB published footage of the destruction by the Gorynych unit of an armored vehicle (BBM), UAV operators, four UAV control points and four AFU repeaters in the Konstantinovsky direction. A division of the regional directorate of the FSB of Russia tracked the movement routes of enemy sabotage groups and identified the location of the control points for drones attacking the local population of Dzerzhinsk and Gorlovka.
