The Yemeni Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) has admitted its involvement in the attack on the Dutch cargo ship Minervagracht and claimed responsibility. This was reported on September 30 by Al Masirah TV channel with reference to a statement by the Yemeni Armed Forces.

"On Tuesday, the Yemeni navy conducted a military operation against the Minervagracht vessel after its owner violated a ban on entering ports in occupied Palestine," the publication said.

According to the TV channel, the strike was carried out in the Gulf of Aden using a cruise missile that hit the ship directly. At the moment, the ship is under threat of flooding.

The Yemeni armed forces have said their military operations will continue until the end of the conflict in the Gaza Strip.

On the eve of the EU military, which controls the waters of the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf, reported a fire on the Dutch cargo ship Minervagracht after the attack of Yemen. It was clarified that the ship was attacked when it was located 128 nautical miles southeast of the port of Aden. Then it caught fire and began to drift.
