New laws will come into force in Russia in October, including strengthening labor and social guarantees for participants in a special military operation, the State Duma recalled.

"The protection of the labor rights of military personnel is being strengthened — after completing their service, they will be able to take the necessary time to recover without the risk of losing their job," Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma, wrote on September 30 in a Telegram channel.

According to him, volunteers will also be able to receive military ranks without undergoing military training. In addition, starting in October, the salaries of military personnel and employees of some law enforcement agencies will be indexed by 7.6%, and the pensions of military retirees will be increased.

It is specified that credit holidays will also be provided for self-employed citizens and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.

On August 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to improve the mechanisms of support for the participants of the CBR and their families, including the provision of services through the "one window" system.
