Belarus may launch production of China's most popular electric car

It is planned to put the Geely EX2 model, which is sold in China under the name Xingyuan, on the assembly line of the Belji Belarusian plant in the Minsk region. This is the most popular electric car model and the best-selling car market in China from January to August 2025, the Chinese Cars portal reported on its Telegram channel on September 30.

According to him, EX2 is currently undergoing certification for the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which includes Russia.

According to <url> Magazine, the Geely Xingyuan has been on sale in China for a year and costs from 69.8 to 98.8 thousand yuan (from 810 thousand to 1.1 million rubles). The length of the Geely EX2 is 4135 mm with a wheelbase of 2650 mm.

In the Chinese market, the basic version of the electric car has a 79-horsepower electric motor, and in the more expensive ones the power is 116 hp. The battery capacity is 30.12 or 40.16 kWh, the power reserve is stated at 310 km and 410 km, respectively. Express charging from 30% to 80% takes 21 minutes.

Earlier, on September 26, Belgee introduced a new X80 crossover in Belarus. This is the first model of the brand with an advanced series-parallel power plant. It is presented in one package at a price starting from 89.9 thousand Belarusian rubles (2.5 million Russian rubles).

On September 18, Belgee introduced in Russia an updated version of the X70 crossover, which entered the Russian market in July last year. The exterior of the Belarusian-made model has been changed, the multimedia system has been improved and the configuration has been optimized.
