The Ministry of Defense published footage of the liberation of Seversk Maly in the DPR

The liberation of the settlement of Seversk Maly in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) was carried out by the military of the 7th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade (OMSBR) and the 3rd Combined Arms Army of the Southern Group of Forces. The video was published on September 30 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It was possible to liberate the settlement thanks to careful reconnaissance by units of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which identified firing points and enemy concentrations. After that, the coordinates of the targets were transferred to the artillery units. The enemy's shelters were destroyed by powerful strikes, as well as the enemy artillery.

"At the same time, active work was carried out in the immediate rear of the enemy — the attack UAVs of the 7th infantry Brigade skillfully prevented any attempts by the enemy to organize supplies or transport personnel to the positions," the ministry said.

Further, the soldiers of the assault units, showing courage and dedication, consistently carried out a sweep of the settlement, leaving the enemy no chance to hold it.

Mobile firing groups of commandant's offices will protect military and civilian objects in the near rear from drones.

Units of the Southern Group of Forces liberated the settlement of Seversk Maly in the DPR earlier on September 30. It was clarified that the Russian military hit the formations of three mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and the air defense brigade in the areas of the settlements of Ivanopolye, Pleshcheyevka, Alexandro-Kalinovo, Berestok and Stepanovka in the DPR.
