Two people died in Cuba due to Hurricane Imelda

In Cuba, two people died as a result of Hurricane Imelda. This was announced on September 30 by Cuban Prime Minister Marrero on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The provinces of Guantanamo Bay and Santiago de Cuba were particularly affected, where heavy rains caused significant damage.

"We express our sorrow over the deaths of two people and ask the public to stay informed of the events, as well as to join the restoration work as soon as possible," Marrero said in a statement.

The authorities continue to work together with the local administrations of the affected regions to eliminate the consequences of the disaster and provide assistance to the victims.
