The living wage in Russia in 2026 will amount to 18,939 rubles, according to the draft federal budget. This was reported on the website of the State Duma on September 29.

For the able—bodied population, the amount will be 20,644 rubles, for pensioners — 16,288 rubles, for children - 18,371 rubles. In 2025, the living wage was set at 17,733 rubles.

The cost of living is indexed annually to reflect rising prices and the standard of living of the population.

Earlier, on September 29, the Ministry of Labor announced that maternity capital will grow by 6.8% in 2026.
