The Shiveluch volcano in Kamchatka spewed a column of ash 3.7 km above sea level. This was announced on September 30 by the Kamchatka Volcanic Eruption Response Group (KVERT).
"The explosions raised the ash of the Shiveluch volcano to 3.7 km above sea level. The ash plume stretches for 133 km east–southeast of the volcano," the Telegram channel says.
