Moscow and three regions will switch to issuing only electronic summonses

In Moscow, the Republic of Mari El, Ryazan and Sakhalin regions, only electronic summonses for military service will be issued. This was announced on September 30 by the head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Evgeny Burdinsky.

"The mechanism for submitting subpoenas has been changed. Citizens receive electronic summonses along with paper ones. At the same time, in the Republic of Mari El, the Ryazan, Sakhalin regions and the city of Moscow, they will be sent only in electronic form," he told the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
