Palestine is convinced of Trump's ability to help achieve peace in the Gaza Strip
The Palestinian National Authority (PNA) expressed its conviction in the continuous work of US President Donald Trump to resolve the situation in the Middle East and the ability to achieve peace in the Gaza Strip. This was announced on September 30 by the WAFA agency.
"Palestine welcomes the tireless efforts made by the US President to end the conflict in Gaza and is convinced that he will be able to pave the way for a peaceful solution to the conflict," the agency said in a statement.
It was also clarified that the PA remains ready to cooperate with the United States and Middle Eastern states to stop the fighting in Gaza and eventually reach a two-state agreement with Israel.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that a number of Arab and Islamic states, including Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, expressed support for Trump's peace plan to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip. In a joint statement, the Foreign ministers noted their willingness to cooperate with Washington to implement this initiative.
