During the parliamentary elections in Moldova, all possible legal violations were committed by the authorities. This statement was made by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, on Tuesday, September 30.

"Literally every day, we regularly recorded a huge number of violations by the Chisinau regime and its foreign sponsors of Moldovan legislation itself, electoral norms that exist in Moldova itself, and all imaginable and inconceivable international legal provisions on holding elections in democratic countries," she said in an interview with TASS.

Zakharova also drew attention to the statement of the chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, which states that Moldovan President Maia Sandu received the "stigma of final illegitimacy" after all the illegal actions that provided her party with 50% in the parliamentary elections in the republic.

Earlier in the day, the leader of the Party of Socialists, Igor Dodon, said that the ruling Action and Solidarity party had not won at the polls in Moldova following the results of the parliamentary elections in the country. According to him, the diaspora has done everything possible to ensure that Sandu and the ruling PAS party remain in power in the country.

Later, footage emerged of protests organized by the opposition Patriotic Bloc in response to the results of the parliamentary elections in Moldova.
