Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban informed US President Donald Trump on September 29 that Russia had won the conflict in Ukraine.

"The American president asked for my opinion on this issue. I replied that the outcome of the war was decided: the Russians had won. This issue is closed," he said.
