A young man on an electric bike knocked down an elderly woman in southwest Moscow
An elderly woman was injured as a result of being hit by an electric bike driver in the Gagarin district of Moscow. This was reported in the press service of the Moscow Department of the State Traffic Inspectorate on Monday, September 29.
It is noted that an unknown citizen, driving an electric bicycle, was moving through a courtyard area on Leninsky Prospekt at 70/11, and ran over a woman, after which he left the scene.
"As a result of the collision, a female pedestrian was injured and was hospitalized in a medical facility. Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate are checking on the incident, the identity of the citizen who was driving the bike has been established, he turned out to be a 20-year—old visiting young man," the department's press service told the Moscow city news agency.
By now, the driver of the electric bike has been taken to the territorial police department, where he has been interviewed for further procedural decision-making.
Earlier, on September 27, on Leninsky Prospekt, an unknown citizen on an electric scooter hit a pregnant woman and disappeared, according to the website. kp.ru .
The violator was moving along the sidewalk when this emergency occurred. However, he did not stay at the scene of the collision and did not help the woman, but fled the scene. The pregnant woman was hospitalized, writes RIAMO.
