Golikova said about the potential of Russians to live up to 120 years
A person has the opportunity to live up to 120 years. This was stated on September 29 by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova at a press conference dedicated to the launch of the regional movement For Healthy Longevity Medicine, which was published on the website of the Rossiya Segodnya press center.
"Everyone's potential is different. Someone ages very fast, someone ages slowly. Those who age slowly have quite a lot of potential...> live to be both 100 and 120 years old," Golikova said.
She noted that increasing life expectancy is a national goal.
Mikhail Bolkov, a researcher at the Institute for the Study of Aging at the Russian State Scientific and Clinical Center of the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov of the Russian Ministry of Health, said on September 5 that in order to live to 110 years, it is necessary to be vaccinated, adhere to a healthy diet and move more. According to him, lifestyle and nutrition play a more significant role in life expectancy than genetics.
