In the Moscow region, a grandmother and her grandson were killed as a result of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on September 29 by the governor of the region Andrey Vorobyov.

"Unfortunately, a tragedy has occurred in Voskresensk: two people died during a fire in a private house — a 76-year-old woman and her six—year-old grandson," the governor wrote on his Telegram channel.

In addition, he expressed his condolences to the relatives of the victims. It is noted that a total of four drones were shot down by the air defense forces over Voskresensk and Kolomna.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems had destroyed 84 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of Russia last night. It was clarified that 24 vehicles were shot down over the territory of the Bryansk region, 21 over the territory of the Belgorod region, and nine were intercepted in the skies over the Smolensk and Voronezh regions. In addition, seven drones were eliminated over the Kaluga region, three over the Orel region and one over the Kursk region. Four drones were also intercepted over the Moscow region.
