Scheduled heating starts in Pskov this week. Batteries will be turned on in apartment buildings and social facilities, said the mayor Boris Yelkin.

Hospitals, schools and kindergartens will be connected to the heat on Monday, October 29. At the same time, the housing stock began to flood.

Earlier in September, Izvestia reported that Russian scientists had developed a diamond nanofluid that converts solar energy into heat. The development will improve and reduce the cost of environmentally friendly heating systems.
