Motorists were presented with a new route through Bashkiria and Udmurtia
Rosneft, the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Ministry of Tourism of the Udmurt Republic presented a new interregional tourist route "Kama Necklace". The presentation of the route took place at the Bashneft gas station in two regions at the same time. This was reported by the press service of PJSC NK Rosneft.
The route is about 450 km long and starts in Ufa and ends in Votkinsk. The project offers to learn more about the sights of the regions located along the banks of the Kama River.
The first point after leaving the capital of Bashkortostan is the city of Neftekamsk and the local Health Trail, where guests of the city traditionally go first. The next stop on the route is the village of Nikolo-Berezovka, where St. Nicholas Church is located. Travelers are also invited to stay in the city of Sarapulu and the village of Buranovo, where the museum of the Buran grandmothers, participants of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, is located. Izhevsk and Votkinsk are also among the iconic points of the route.
The Kama Necklace became the fifth tourism project developed by Rosneft jointly with the authorities of Bashkiria and Udmurtia. In 2024, within the framework of the Horizons of Russia project, the interregional route "Force of Nature" from Ufa to Orenburg was presented, and a mass car rally to the homeland of Pyotr Tchaikovsky was held in Udmurtia. This year, the routes "Pavlovskaya Circumnavigation" in Bashkortostan and "Izhevsk — Igra" in Udmurtia were launched.
Rosneft actively supports initiatives to develop domestic tourism and aims to create comfortable conditions for motorists, the company stressed. Together with its partners, Rosneft has developed more than 50 routes for road trips around the country. Some of them are presented on the Horizons of Russia platform.
