In Italy, they told about electoral fraud in Moldova at polling stations in Europe
Numerous falsifications were recorded at polling stations in Europe as part of the parliamentary elections in Moldova. This was reported on September 28 by the Italian newspaper Il Giornale d'Italia.
"Even before the elections, many political experts raised the alarm about widespread electoral fraud prepared by the Action and Solidarity Party led by President Maia Sandu," the publication says.
According to the newspaper, violations were noticed both inside and outside Moldova. Access to observers and the press was restricted at polling stations in Europe, which creates doubts about the transparency of the elections. In Italy, France, Germany and Romania, within an hour after the start of voting, the ballot boxes were almost completely filled, which did not correspond to the official turnout.
According to the newspaper, cases of multiple voting by the same people were recorded at some polling stations. It is alleged that buses hired by Moldova's ruling party were used to transport voters in Austria, Romania and the Czech Republic. Representatives of the Moldovan special services were also seen at some sites.
Earlier in the day, former Moldovan president and leader of the Party of Socialists Igor Dodon announced during an opposition rally near parliament that the opposition in the republic had protested the results of the parliamentary elections. He believes that every electoral competitor has the right to file certain complaints, which will then be considered first by the CEC, then by the courts, and then by the Constitutional Court.
According to the head of the Central Election Commission of Moldova, Angela Karaman, 236 violations were recorded during the last elections in the republic. They are related to damage to ballots, prohibited campaigning, removal of ballots from the territory of the polling station, suspicion of electoral corruption, violation of voting rights and interference with the activities of the electoral body.
Parliamentary elections began in Moldova on September 28. Polling stations in the territory of the state were open from 07:00 to 21:00. Thus, 301 polling stations operated outside the country to give citizens abroad the opportunity to vote.
