More than 800,000 people have fled Gaza City since the start of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) ground offensive on the capital of the Palestinian enclave. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post on September 29.
According to estimates by the IDF Southern Command, between 30 and 50 thousand people left the city every day last week.
Representatives of the Israeli Defense Ministry said that 250-350 thousand Palestinians are still in Gaza.
