Liksutov assessed the effectiveness of the ZIL—Pechatniki river route
Passengers made about 900,000 trips along the route of the regular river electric transport ZIL — Pechatniki, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. Since the beginning of the year, almost 400,000 trips have been made on it, which is 15% more than a year earlier.
The second regular river route "ZIL — Pechatniki" was launched by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin two years ago. "More than 700,000 residents have developed the most innovative type of urban transport," Liksutov said, noting that the route is popular with passengers.
The route length is more than 11 km. At the first stage, after the launch, six berths-stops were launched: ZIL, Avtozavodsky Bridge, Klenovy Boulevard, Yuzhny Rechnoy Vokzal, Nagatinsky Zaton and Pechatniki. On September 3, 2024, three stops were opened on the route.: "Nagatinsky", "Zaton Noviny" and "Kolomenskaya embankment". ZIL has become the most popular pier since its opening.
In June of this year, the berthing configuration changed: Avtozavodsky Bridge became part of the third Novospassky—ZIL route. At the same time, the Moscow Shipyard bus stop was opened. When choosing areas, an important criterion was the possibility of reducing travel time, the Moscow transport complex noted.
The second route connected the districts of the south and south-east of the capital, with more than 700,000 residents living in the area of attraction. About 1.5 million more new square meters are being built in this area. m of real estate, where another 150 thousand Muscovites will live. Ten electric vessels operate on the line, which have made more than 45 thousand flights and traveled over 480 thousand km.
Earlier, Sobyanin said that since the launch of regular river routes of the electric vessel, more than 1 million km have passed along the Moskva River. Thanks to the launch of three regular river electric transport routes, trips have become more comfortable and faster for 1.8 million people.
