RIF-2025 summed up the results
The XXIX Russian Internet Forum (RIF-2025), a key event of the year for the Russian IT industry, has come to an end in the Moscow Region. The forum brought together government officials, the country's leading technology companies, recognized experts and investors.
The key topics of the forum were "The right to the future" and "The National Code of the Runet." For three days, the forum participants discussed the achievements, challenges and strategic prospects of the domestic digital industry.
During the three days of work, RIF brought together hundreds of experts and opinion leaders who presented their vision of the future of the domestic digital industry, discussed its prospects and identified challenges requiring joint solutions.
The focus was on issues requiring interaction between the government, business, academia, educational platforms and civil society to form an integrated ecosystem of IT development in Russia. Therefore, the country's leading technology companies have joined the RIF.
In addition to the strategic issues of the development of the digital industry as a whole, certain areas where the impact of technology is becoming decisive were actively discussed at RIF-2025. Thus, Rinat Nizamov, head of content development at T-Bank (a strategic partner of the forum), emphasized: "I think any bank, any marketplace, any social network is an ecosystem in which the user is the main one, and the more actively interaction with business is built, the more successful this business will be."
Anna Harutyunyan, Director of Antimonopoly and Regulatory Policy at RVB (official partner of the forum), continued the topic of the development of digital platforms, noting: "Platforms come where there is demand, and remain as long as it exists. These are about 700 Russian brands that receive support under the Platform for Growth program. The platforms have created an opportunity for everyone to try their hand at entrepreneurship."
Special attention was paid to the issues of regulation in the field of artificial intelligence. Ruslan Bakeev, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Center at the Foundation for Advanced Research (partner of the forum), noted: "Regulation should be risk-oriented. Total control will kill innovation, and lack of control will lead to chaos. It is important to find a balance based on the level of risks of using technology in specific areas."
As a result, the forum's program covered all key areas of the industry: from cybersecurity and import substitution in the gaming industry to the export of IT solutions, the development of startups and the use of AI. Experts emphasized the need to create a national infrastructure, strengthen the ecosystem and search for new international markets.
A special highlight of the forum was Cyberdacha, a new format where leading technology companies deployed their theme houses. Participants could complete quests, test AI services, play "IT Mafia" or "Musical Bingo", and chat with experts and colleagues in an informal setting. So, in the House of Yandex (RIF's general partner), guests got acquainted with the "magic of AI" and Alice—based projects, in the House of LOOKY (the forum's technological partner), they tried on digital fashion and created neural avatars, and VK (RIF's general strategic partner) turned his house into a real laboratory of the future, where AI avatars were discussed. space and teamwork.
The cultural program has also become an integral part of the RIF: concerts, festivals, flash mobs and evening meetings have given the forum an atmosphere of openness and created conditions for an informal exchange of ideas.
RIF-2025 showed: The Russian IT industry is ready for new challenges, and the unification of government and business opens up opportunities for sustainable growth, the development of technological leadership and the strengthening of national digital sovereignty.
