Izvestia won the second place in the RGMI table tennis tournament

The RG Media Cup, the first team table tennis tournament among the largest Russian mass media, was held at the large sports arena of the Luzhniki complex. The Izvestia News Center team won the second place in the Golden division.

The tournament brought together seven leading media companies: Izvestia News Center, Rambler&Co, the editorial office of the newspaper Vechernyaya Moskva, News Media Holding, Multimedia Holding, IM Media, and the Russian Media Group. The RG Media team also participated in the competition. The competitions were held in strict accordance with the regulations of the Russian Table Tennis Federation (RTTF) under the supervision of the highest category of judges.

Yulia Shimarskaya, Director of Development at RG Media, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.: "I am very glad that my colleagues accepted the challenge, I think this is not our last Cup. And today, may the strongest win!"

As part of the tournament, 24 athletes competed for awards in two divisions – Gold and Silver. Winners and prize-winners of the RG Media Cup:

In the Golden Division:

1st place: Rambler&Co team

2nd place: the team of the Izvestia Research Center

3rd place: IM Media team

In the Silver Division:

1st place: RG Media team

2nd place: Multimedia Holding

3rd place: Russian Media Group

The winners and prize-winners were awarded with commemorative cups and honorary diplomas. The Cup strengthened corporate ties, created an atmosphere of healthy competition, and promoted an active lifestyle among media industry employees.

The event was organized by Rossiyskaya Gazeta with the support of the Moscow City Sports Department.
