Military personnel of the 92nd sapper regiment of the Zapad group of forces destroyed military equipment and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the special military operation in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR). This was announced on September 29 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that the sappers have installed minefields on the supply routes and movement of Ukrainian troops. For this purpose, the military personnel used a robotic complex, which reduced the danger to the personnel. Reconnaissance using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) confirmed the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment at one of the barriers.

Developed by the regiment, the robotic complex has become part of the arsenal of the engineering unit, which also has attack drones and transporters for cargo delivery and evacuation.
