The situation in the Leningrad region with the sale of surrogate alcohol, which resulted in the deaths of 19 people, is an extraordinary case. This was announced on September 29 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"This is an out-of-the-ordinary accident, it is a tragedy that has led to a large number of victims. Law enforcement agencies are working. This will be a reason to simply systematize the work more and pay more attention to it," he told TASS.
