Gladkov spoke about the progress of restoring electricity supply in the Belgorod region.

Work to eliminate power outages recorded as a result of the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Belgorod region is underway at the federal level. This was announced on September 28 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"Emergency crews are doing the necessary work. Backup generation was started where it was needed. <...> I reported to the Government of the Russian Federation, in particular, to the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation Igor Olegovich Shchegolev. All necessary measures have been taken at the federal level," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the head of the region, it is expected that the completion of the work will take place as soon as possible. He clarified that by the morning of Monday, September 29, specialists will try to arrange the supply of electricity to kindergartens and schools and called for monitoring information about this in parent chats after 06:00 in the morning.

It is noted that all services are currently involved in the field, where all necessary work is being carried out to eliminate the consequences of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack.

On the same day, Gladkov reported that the infrastructure of Belgorod had been damaged by the attacks of Ukrainian militants, which caused problems with electricity in the city.
