Western media often present Russia in a negative way, because there are two organizations acting in favor of the European Union (EU). Italian journalist Amadeo Avondet told Izvestia about this on September 28.

According to him, the first organization is the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), which, although not functioning, still retains its influence on Western media. The second organization is the EurActiv agency, which pays European publications to publish material that corresponds to the ideas of the European Commission (EC).

Despite this, as Avondet noted, there are journalists in Europe who tell the truth about Russia. In his opinion, one of these is British journalist James Delingpole, who told The Spectator magazine about his admiration after a trip to Russia.

Avondet noted that the "narrative against Russia" was created by organizations founded by liberals and UCD. He also clarified that Europe is now in decline, and it is experiencing difficulties in the economy and demography.

On September 28, Delingpole told The Spectator magazine about his admiration for the safety of Russian streets, contrasting this with the situation in the UK. The journalist praised the well-developed street infrastructure and called the Moscow metro "the best in the world."

Dutch investigative journalist Sonja van den Ende said on the same day that when Delingpole arrived in Russia, he completely changed his mind because he saw that 99% of what was written turned out to be untrue.
